Hey Brandon, Just wanted to say you were the reason I got a tumblr account. Wanted to be able to interact with you and some other accounts without being a dirty anon. Have any advice for a tumblr newbie?

That’s awesome! Welcome to the community. Hm advice? Just the basics:

• Be nice
• don’t anonymously troll people
• don’t ask for followers or “promo” (just post good stuff and you’ll get more loyal quality followers that way)
• If you insist on putting autoplay music (not recommended) make sure there is a stop/pause button or some way to stop it (in case your visitors already are listening to music or a movie or just dont want to listen to it)
• Don’t constantly ask message people asking things you could easily google
• Don’t post tons of pics of yourself every day (unless you wan’t to be categorized with those kinda people)
• Don’t get your images from weheartit
• and most of all, don’t steal/repost images you find on tumblr. Always reblog 🙂
