Soccer players wear sports briefs, boxer briefs, and sometimes compression shorts, which pack things tightly so that they don’t fly around, but not often. A soccer ball’s speed of travel doesn’t pose as much threat as a baseball, so jock straps and cups aren’t worn.

In the 2010 FIFA world cup US and Slovenia wore Nike Pro underwear
and Spain wore Adidas.
