You gotta admit tho, Mariah is probably the most qualified musician to ever judge in a singing competition.

• Song with most weeks at #1 (One Sweet Day, 16 weeks)
• More cumulative weeks at #1 than any female (79 weeks) only beat by Elvis
• Radio song of the decade (We Belong Together) 
• Helped pioneer pop/hip-hop/rap collaborations 

So I just get a little confused at the people who don’t think she should be judging on American Idol.
