Britney does have some credibility in this dubstep move. I am a fan of dubstep even though there is shit all of it here in australia, but 2nd to Katy B who got dubstep to top the UK charts, Britney can receive slight credit to the movement of dubstep. Yes i understand i’m not even American, so therefore don’t know the how big the dubstep scene is over there. I also agree saying ‘american dubstep movement’ is a bit extreme. Yet you have to confess that with this track she’ll definitely open up the floor for more dubstep in the mainstream world. Crediting her more with a ‘Dubstep movement into the Mainstream area’. I agree you can’t put her on a pedestal for ‘creating’ dubstep.

I agree with you completely. It is part of the movement and reflects how it has impacted music and culture. Just wanted to remind the deluded tweens that didn’t even know what dubstep was until today, not to go too far. 🙂

What do you think?
