People deleting the post’s click-through link, I mean what the fuck? If something is linked back to me, it’s because I made it. I’m not just putting it there for no reason. Com’mon people that’s just rude. I already have to deal with people removing (via londonsteele), but to remove my click-through link also. Really now? REALLY?
Well, having a click through to an external site (to credit that’s where you got the pic from) is cool, however…
I think click through linking back to yourself is a little dumb, ESPECIALLY if it prevents the viewer from being able to view the pic high-res. It just kind of sends a message that attention/followers takes precedence over your content. It’s like “fuck my followers, they don’t get to see this HQ, I wan’t a click-thru link back to me so I get more ppl to my page!”. The content and how it is viewed should be your priority, especially if it’s a photography, celeb, or model picture where HQ is important.
If I ever make a click through link back to myself (probly wont, maybe if it’s a pic with no HQ) and someone removes it.. I won’t care. Be my guest. It still was reblogged from me and will most likely have the “via” link so really it’s nothing to cry about. It’s not as bad as deleting important text from a photo post.
